Criteria for
Qualification: Effective
05-26-03 Any site that has an award program, that
discriminates against commercial sites will not eligible for our
award program. It takes just as much hard work and talent if not
more, to develop a commercial site as it does a personal site.
There are some people who are disabled, handicapped and can't
work a regular job. There are also people who need the extra
income. These people deserve to be acknowledged just as much, if
not more than individuals who concentrate on personal sites as a
hobby etc.

Site must be suited
for General Audiences, meaning no adult sites, hate sites or
controversial sites will be accepted. No sites that promote
illegal activity will be considered. Applicants must be at
least 18 years of age.

No sites with
links to the above mentioned type sites will be accepted.

Sites must be
written in English.

CONTENT: Sites should
offer value added Feature Benefits to visitors, meaning it
is informative, educational or is a good resource in a
Specific Category of Interest. Maximum 50 points

CODING: Good Use of HTML
coding Meta Tags with accurate descriptions and
keywords. Maximum points 10

DESIGN: Site should have
good eye appeal as it relates to color schemes and preferred
use of original graphics.

NAVIGATION: Should be
user friendly and very easy
to navigate. * Your site should not leave a lot of windows
open that need to be closed.

LOAD TIME:
Should load up in no more than 30 seconds or less based on 56.6K
Modems. If flash 60 seconds or less. Maximum points 10

VISITOR
FRIENDLY: no more than 1 pop up. Visitors should not be
bogged down with numerous pop ups. Sites with more than one
pop up will be disqualified.
Maximum 10 points.

Must Score At
Least 70.0 for award.

If you do not
win, you may re-apply in 90 days once modifications have
been made to improve your site.
Please do not copy the

We will confirm receipt of your
application within at least 48 hours. Each site will be reviewed by our
staff, all decisions are final. Please allow at least a 4 weeks for
our decision. We will maintain a list of
winners, which acts as a reciprocal link causing
increased site popularity.
